IUTER Rides Into MFW With FW23 'Spirit' Collection
IUTER showcases its first ever women's collection!
For the first time, IUTER brings forth a selection of women’s clothing and accessories in its FW23 ‘Spirit’ collection. This body of work perpetuates the Italian house’s evolving narrative of being sound, technically skilled, and reckless.
In collaboration with military experts Alpha Industries, Italian tuning master Polini, and the 90’s murder drama ‘Twin Peaks’ by David Lynch, this FW23 collection proved to be a collage of artistry, intricacy, and modernity all wrapped up in one.
Classic motorcycle-style race jackets and striped parachute pants make a righteous appearance, considering the presentation of scooter vehicles. Tailored and formal sets show off symmetrical tribal biker patterns with metal gussets, where some are paired with cozy knit sweatshirts, printed tees, and patterned shirts.
You’ll even notice the same formal cut in a dark base occupied by an explosion of abstract and lively colorful art and another variation with large-scale sleepy portraits.
The IUTER FW23 collection also showcases an intelligent play on juxtaposing masculine elements with invasive and intricate feminine detailing.
Dark camouflage prints are translated into pleated mini skirts, sporty jackets, sports jerseys, and parachute pants with attractive laser-cut petals and pearl-embellished dimensions.
Pink appears to be one of the main players in the IUTER FW23 collection, as you’ll find it introduced in the forms of casual top and bottom fits, where slouchy pants are personalized with graphic black hand markings, chic tights are crowded with Iuter logo-mania, and sweatshirts are stamped with the bold statement: ‘NO RAIN NO FLOWERS’.
Denim fits into the conversation nicely in dark-washed cargo vests and pants, accompanied by yet another formal set with interlocked and architectural brown double-stitching, and microscopic IUTER tag borders.
On a final note, the accessories in this line include some small leather geometric bags and some funky alphabetical chain jewelry.
