K-Pop Girl Group NewJeans May Be Partnering with Dior
Haerin was spotted wearing the luxury brand en route to the 2022 MAMA Awards.
NewJeans is the latest K-Pop group to take over the fashion world. The five-member girl group from ADOR, a sub-label of HYBE Corporation which manages BTS, released their debut single in July 2022 to immediate success. They quickly became known for their 2000s-influenced style.
Lead singer Hanni has already signed with Gucci as a brand ambassador, and fans are speculating that Haerin may be next. At an airport appearance on the way to the 2022 MAMA Awards, she was spotted in a fur-lined black zip-up jacket and flared dark wash jeans, both from Dior’s latest collection. She paired the outfit with the black and white Dior Boy Loafer and floral Lady D-Lite bag.
NewJeans has often been compared to Blackpink, a group where all four members are fashion ambassadors for luxury brands. Speculation of a Dior partnership has been happening ever since the luxury brand followed NewJeans on Twitter. The girl group also wore head to toe Dior in a Harper’s Bazaar Korea editorial. Will Dior be the next brand to partner with the rising stars? We’ll have to wait and see.
