Versace is the Master of Corsets

Chances are, if you open an Instagram account dedicated to fashion archives and see a corset, it's Versace. Founded by Gianni Versace, and now headed up by his sister, Donatella Versace, the Italian luxury label has a very sultry attitude that really cinches one in. And well, corsets just end by being part of such a sensuous lexicon. 

Since the 1980s, the brand has been seducing fashionistas worldwide – whether through BDSM-esque outfits or close-fitting dresses that accentuate the female figure. But it is their corsetry that has garnered the most attention in the fashion world. From Kim Kardashian in a cinched, bright yellow dress at the 2018 Business of Fashion launch party to singer Victoria Monet in a dramatic bronze bustier gown at the 2024 Grammys, the celebrities' go-to corsetry for raw sexiness has always been Versace. Even Nicola Peltz opted for one of her wedding gowns to be a snitched Versace. "There's just nothing that feels better than a Versace corset," Nicola Peltz told Vogue ahead of her big day back in 2022, adding: "The fit is impeccable. It makes you feel sexy, but classy at the same time."
