Jacquemus and Nike have teamed up to launch a minimalist-inspired range of womenswear. Simon Porte Jacquemus eponymous brand has only increased in popularity in recent years with the likes of Beyoncé and Dua Lipa favoring his designs. The collaboration has been a labor of love as it’s been in the works since a pre-pandemic 2018.

“I have always been inspired by vintage ACG pieces and 90’s Nike campaigns” Simon claims, and with this, in mind, he decided that he wants to reinterpret athletic women’s sportswear in a minimalistic way. The collection features “sensuous details and neutral colors” and Simon has emphasised how he feels it’s important that the collection is accessible for all bodies.

The brand will also be putting its own spin on the Humara (Simon’s favorite Nike shoe). Although a low-key silhouette the Nike Humara has been reinterpreted by collaborators, like Supreme, in the past. Nike is no stranger to collaborations previously working with COMME des GARÇONS, Sacai, Martine Rose and many more.

Jacquemus X Nike will launch online at Jacquemus.com and in Nike stores on the June 28th.
