A fusion of bows and ballet.

As a part of their Spring 2024 installments, which features several noteworthy collaborations including Tarina Tarantino and Dilara Findikoglu, Heaven by Marc Jacobs has now teamed up with the ultra-hyperfeminine Sandy Liang. A symbol of girlhood, Sandy Liang’s New York label is acclaimed for its coquette-inspired garments that embody a touch of nostalgia.

Guest designed by Mimi Wade, Heaven and Sandy Liang also joined forces with the renowned New York City Ballet for the collection. Featuring a bolero, leotard, bustier, ballet dress, slip dress, baby tees, and tank tops, the S/S clothing line illustrates the delicacy and femininity of the sport of ballet.

In the perfect marketing move, the face of the sought-after drop is none other than singer-songwriter Clairo. Known for her lo-fi bedroom pop, the singer is a favorite amongst the coquette girlies for her soft and enchanting ballads.

Standout pieces of the drop include the ‘big bow’ shoulder bag, a satiny purse with straps that tie in an adorably huge bow. Embellished with a double-headed teddy bear plaque designed with Sandy Liang’s logo, the purse was a huge hit for fans, quicking selling out in both colors of pink and black.

Heaven x Sandy Liang is a seamless blend of the iconography and embellishments of each brand, featuring Heaven’s quirky graphics and Liang’s iconic bows throughout the entire line. Seriously, almost every single garment has a bow (except for the leotard and the bolero—which, to be fair, could be tied into one, too).

But, shockingly, the bows don’t stop there! Continuing with Sandy Liang’s unique touch, the drop features chartreuse pointe satin ballet flats and bow-adorned accessories such as the bolo necklace, which features ballet shoe charms, and the pearl barette and necklace.

If you’re a fan of the dainty, feminine coquette style, you don’t want to miss this drop. Launched on May 6th on both brand’s websites, the line is quickly selling out—after all, who doesn’t want to walk around decorated in precious, giant bows?
