DEJA Teaches You How To Move On
‘Like That’ will show your ex what they’re missing.
She’s back again. DEJA, an advocate for female empowerment, a bad bitch, a dancer, and a singer, who, in our January interview, shared her belief in matriarchy and her attraction towards women. Following ‘Boujee,’ an anthem of self-love, and ‘Wishin,’ an open expression of lust, now she releases ‘Like That’ and she does not disappoint.
Her newest single delivers a lesson on how to move on from someone who didn’t deserve you. It’s a groovy, catchy, and fast track in which DEJA showcases her rapping skills and her bad bitch energy. ‘Like That’ is for everyone who wants to move on in a spectacular style.
‘You ditch that deadbeat, put on your sexiest outfit, and show your ex what they’re missing,’ DEJA explains the mood behind the song. ‘I’m not one to get too deep with feelings so ‘Like That’ is playful. Nostalgia from an old nursery rhyme served with that DEJA attitude.’
The release is accompanied by a juicy visualizer in which DEJA dances in a pink, sequin dress, and you can tell that she’s having a lot of fun. ‘I wanted this video to be an accurate reflection of how I get over a wasteman. Heels on, legs out, drinks pouring and booty bussin,’ she describes.
