Chloe Sevigny Takes on Marc Jacobs 2021 Resort Collection
The indie-darling and triple threat (she's an established actress, model, and designer in her own right) is the face of Marc Jacobs' new line.
Chloe Sevigny takes no prisoners as the chaotic face of Marc Jacobs’ latest Resort 2021 campaign. Though the actress, model and designer started out as a humble intern (who at the age of twenty was first “discovered” by a casting director at her summer job with Sassy magazine,) Resort 2021 Chloe has no qualms taking on the business of fashion as she teeters on meeting tables, rifles madly through closets, and allows herself a minor swoon mid-lobby.
The team-up is somewhat of an overdue reunion of the two forces. Long-time collaborators and real-life friends, with Sevigny regularly spotted in Marc Jacobs event wear and even scored an invite to the designer’s wedding in 2019.
This season, she showcases classic Marc Jacobs irreverent urban chic in a range of styles from platform boots to baby tees to luxe shearling jackets. And though Sevigny poses alongside the fashion house mannequins, the model is anything but stiff. The eternal offbeat cool girl has certainly come a long way from interning.
