Revisiting The Fashion Of Do Revenge

When the film Do Revenge first started being teased in 2022, I knew immediately that I'd be watching it, because I was enthralled by the bright costuming. It had felt like so long since I'd watched a movie I could really rely on for fashion inspo.

One outfit that was engraved in my mind was Drea's lilac ruffle crop top and butter yellow shorts. I'd wanted to start playing around with texture more, and that top was the push I needed.

I rewatched Do Revenge recently, and I was struck by how much I can still take from the costuming. Butter yellow has been a major color trend in 2025-2026, after all. There are, of course, looks that are chronically 2022 (Eleanor's cartoony, mesh flower top comes to mind), but many of the looks are what I'd wear today.

I think my favorite outfit this time around is Drea's monochromatic blue ensemble, with a sheer blue coat, a furry crop top, and tailored trousers, paired with a silver choker and heart earrings. It's so unique, yet works perfectly together.
