Any Lorde fan will know her music, but only true fans will know her secret Instagram. @Onionringsworldwide is Lorde’s second account, dedicated to rating onion rings and giving honest reviews – hey, we all have weird hobbies.
Die hard fans have been questioning why the reviews (and music) has taken a lengthy hiatus, but to everyone’s delight a review was posted in December after three and a half years.
Another followed on April 26th showing some rings from the New Zealand Hotel Ponsonby. The artist explained that the pickled onion rings were good as she “used to eat pickled onions out of the jar as a youngster.” However, Lorde went on to explain “However, I think if you’re gonna go there, go there, and let acidity rather than sweetness dominate,”.
