Her ‘4 In The Morning’ combines lyrical and musical nostalgia.

Nápoles, a truly multicultural, Stockholm-based artist of Cuban and Russian roots, has an impressive artistic CV. She sang in a gospel choir, she collaborated with adidas, and she was an opening act for Beyonce and Jay-Z, as a DJ of the creative collective Ladieslovehiphop. This year she emerges as a solo artist, with her second EP ‘Cloud 9’, coming out on November 12th. Her newest single, ‘4 In The Morning’ is its third and final instalment.

The track, fusing R&B and neo-soul, embellished with Nápoles’s effortless, sweet vocal, feels like a trip down the 90s and 00s musical lane. But the song is nostalgic in its lyrical layer as well and it brings out all feelings that you may experience at ‘4 In The Morning.’

Nápoles herself admits that the beat is ‘super nostalgic,’ and she continues to share what was the inspiration behind this intimate song. ‘After a while, I was sure that I wanted to sing about love and temptation. I want the listeners to feel the intimacy and turn it into something good for themselves. Like always, I want them to slow it down with me.’

If you feel like slowing it down with Nápoles, listen to ‘4 In The Morning.’
