Is Kanye Seriously Going To Launch His Own Version Of SKIMS?
The Kimye war continues.
Yup, you read that correctly there is rumours about Kanye starting his own SKIMS inspired collection.
Despite Kim going through a full relationship with Pete Davidson since parting with Kanye, it still seems to be very apparent that Kanye is still very much not over his ex. Respectfully, who can blame him, how would one ever get over Kim Kardashian? But, attempting to rival her in the shapewear department perhaps may be the most ambitious thing Ye could do to catch her attention giving the raging success of KK’s SKIMS.
Ye reportedly has recently filed for a trademark and logo for a new clothing line he plans to launch which will include pyjamas, underwear, and everyday apparel. We do however need to consider that this may be a coincidence, the rapper is renowned for his YEEZY collaborations with brand such as adidas and GAP, perhaps he simply is just expanding this brand and Kim hasn’t even crossed his mind?
What makes us even more suspicious of this being a SKIMS inspired release is as it closely follows the release of new styles from Scott Disick’s brand Talentless. Just look below, the colour palettes and styles mirror SKIMS far too closely to be a mistake. Come on Scott, some originality wouldn't go a miss.
Only time will tell if Kanye’s new clothing launch is intended to compete with his ex-wife’s business. But surely this cannot simply be a coincidence given the rappers previous antics?
