Lisa Rinna’s Bowl-Cut Comeback Stirs Up Paris Fashion Week

Hair transformations by Björn Axén’s Johan Hellström.

Lisa Rinna doesn’t do subtle, and she certainly didn’t start at the Balenciaga Fall 2025 couture show. Striding into Paris Fashion Week on July 9 like she owned the runway (and maybe the internet), the 61-year-old icon showed up in a sharp jet-black bowl cut wig paired with an inflated electric blue look straight from Demna’s dystopian daydreams. It was weird. It was bold. It was Rinna.

Crafted by hairstylist Johan Hellstrom, the severe wig had déjà vu energy — think Will Byers meets high fashion. And if that sounds familiar, it’s because Rinna already rocked a similar vibe back in 2023 at Vivienne Westwood’s show. Love it or hate it, she’s making the bowl cut a Paris staple.

Family-Approved, Internet-Dividing

Rinna’s daughters, Delilah and Amelia Hamlin, co-signed the look on Instagram, because of course they did — this isn’t new territory for their fashion-daring mom.

The star-studded Balenciaga affair also drew Kim Kardashian (dripping in Elizabeth Taylor’s diamond earrings, naturally), Naomi Watts, Cardi B, Nicole Kidman, and Lorde. Still, Lisa’s polarizing wig was arguably the night’s most talked-about accessory — and that’s saying something at a show this extra.

So was it a fashion win or a wigged-out misfire? Honestly, it's a W for fashion, reals know fashion is like art, it steers convo. Rinna’s been using couture week as her personal playground all year — three wigs in January alone — and clearly, she’s not here to play it safe. Paris may have its critics, but Lisa Rinna came to serve.
