Kourtney Kardashian And Gwyneth Paltrow Release A Goop X Poosh Collab
A crossover we should have seen coming.
Entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow is keeping up with the Kardashian of the moment. Paltrow and newlywed Kourtney Kardashian took social media to announce a collaboration between their respective wellness endeavors Goop and Poosh.
Goop And Poosh Are Taking Over The Wellness Realm
It’s no secret that Gwyneth Paltrow has put her acting career on the side to focus on all things Goop. Goop, which started as a weekly newsletter in 2008, has grown into a full-fledged company. The main website promotes a curated selection of products from various brands in relation to wellness, home decor, travel, fashion, and beauty.
Besides, Goop offers in-house products under the umbrella of G.Line (fashion), GoopWellness, G. fragrance, Goop Beauty, etc. Goop’s catalog covers the whole scope of lifestyle. Their articles range from chocolate, vitamins, and face creams to wand vibrators.
Additionally, Goop has a dedicated podcast. Their Netflix show ‘The Goop Lab’ first aired in 2020.
Kourtney Kardashian’s foray into wellness came in 2019 when the reality-TV star launched her own site. Poosh, labeled as a “guide to living your best life”, bears a resemblance to Goop. The platform offers products and recommendations regarding lifestyle topics. The Youtube channel broadcasts episodes with famous guests.
No Catfight In Sight
Generally, the public enjoys creating rivalries and pitting famous women against one another. Therefore, the similarities between Goop and Poosh didn’t go unnoticed. In fact, many accuse Kourtney Kardashian of copying the ‘Goop model’.
However, Gwyneth Paltrow herself put this debate to rest stating that ‘There is room for every woman to fulfill her dreams.’ With this new collaboration, she obviously meant those words.
The Goop x Poosh collab is HERE
After a short teaser, Gwyneth and Kourtney released their collaboration on June 1st. The product is a scented candle aptly named "This Smells Like My Pooshy". This cheeky candle is described as a “Tahitian coconut milk and rich gardenia butter blend with freshly crushed green stems. It is a continuation of the “This smells like” line sold by Goop. The brand famously launched a candle called "This Smells Like My Vagina" in 2020 followed by a few offspring.
