Comme des Garçons Says “Zero” Perfume for All
A New Minimalistic Fragrance
Comme des Garçons Parfums is the latest brand to embrace minimalism and simplicity with its fragrance “Zero,” developed by Fanny Bal. Not only does the perfume’s packaging design stick to the basics (the brand name and “Zero” printed in black ink), but the fragrance also has fewer ingredients than other perfumes. In an attempt to reduce the product’s environmental impact, Comme des Garçons Parfums packages “Zero” in a fully recyclable glass bottle with a plastic-free cap.
In contrast to traditional perfume advertisements that feature a woman in a billowing dress looking off to the distance, “Zero” is not marketed toward any one gender. Rather, Comme des Garçons Parfums hopes every gender identity will find beauty in “Zero’s” notes of cedarwood, rose, musk and bergamot. Find a 100 ml bottle of “Zero” here for $135.
