Check HARLOE’s New Single If You Can Relate To ‘Overthinking’

A feeling of losing your mind has never felt so good before.

Good, old overthinking, we’ve all been done, we’ve all done it, we’ve all been losing our minds once or twice but how many of us wrote an effortless song about this unbearable feeling? HARLOE, an extraordinarily talented vocalist and songwriter, who collaborated with Charlie XCX, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears, has turned ‘Overthinking’ into a pop banger that you can’t help but dance to.

Born in New York to a Ukrainian and Romanian family, HARLOE is a Grammy-nominee for Ella Mai’s self-titled album of which she co-wrote ‘Run My Mouth’ and Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Meaning of Life,’ as a co-writer and co-producer of several songs. With her newest release entitled ‘Overthinking,’ she proves that she a lot to say as a solo artist as well.

Her recipe for a BOP? Combine personal lyrics with a catchy melody, embedded in the 70s basslines, buttery synths, and a funky guitar line. Ironically, ‘Overthinking’ came out of collab with Nile Rodgers at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London, who advised HARLOE not to ‘overthink’ the lyrics. This is why the chorus repeats a simple but brilliant line, ‘Overthinking over you.’ Have you started humming yet?

‘Overthinking’ by HARLOE ft. Nile Rodgers is out now. The artist also released an accompanying visualizer.
