Charlie XCX Is Creating A New Album From Scratch During Isolation

English pop princess Charli XCX has revealed she will be recording and releasing a new album “How I’m Feeling Now” from scratch whilst the country remains in lockdown over the Coronavirus pandemic. 

The singer explained that staying positive equals staying creative, later stating, “I’m only going to be able to use the tools I have at my fingertips to create all music, all artwork, all videos… everything.” She plans to release her first single “Forever” on April 10, “or more realistically April 13,” releasing A cappella recordings, demos and text convos with collaborators throughout the process. 

The album is set for release on May 15, giving Charli just over a month to drop her undoubtedly dreamy tunes. And if your own productivity during the lockdown only consists of re-watching all 5 seasons of Black Mirror, that’s perfectly ok too.
