Ariana Grande Makes Her ‘The Voice’ Debut
Ariana Grande stars as the show’s newest coach.
The show “The Voice” has returned for a new season on Monday and features Ariana Grande as the show’s newest coach. Grande made her debut following Nick Jonas’ exit.
Grande said that “I’ve been watching ‘The Voice’ for years and I wanted to be a coach. This is my first season and I’d like to think I’m here to win.”
She is coaching alongside John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton.
Co-coach Legend joked that “we are all in trouble’, as he worried Grande could win this season. During the Blind Auditions, Grande managed to get Katherine Ann Mohler, who performed “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” by Jermain Stewart, to join her team.
Grande’s fans took to Twitter to write: “The voice acknowledging ariana is way out of the league IKTR”.
Another fan added: “This entire show is about ariana and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Seemingly many agreed on Twitter that they were only watching the show for Ariana, as another person commented: “The fact that we just watching the show for Ariana [...].”
