When life Imitates Sex and the City.

Carrie Bradshaw is everywhere for those with two eyes, a penchant for the whimsy factor, and lots of Sex and the City marathons under their belt. The fashionable New Yorker has been a sartorial icon for years since the release of Darren Star’s show, which celebrates its 27th anniversary this year. With the third season of the sequel series And Just Like That streaming on Max, the sexpert remains the ultimate style star, with many celebrities referencing her style — past and present. Ahead, check out some of the stars who channeled their inner Carries and were totally fabulous — exclamation point!"

Jenna Ortega

At the New York premiere of Hurry Up Tomorrow, actress Jenna Ortega donned the iconic newspaper print dress from John Galliano’s Dior Fall/Winter 2000 collection, famously worn by Carrie when she tried to make amends with Mr. Big's ex-wife, Natasha, in a restaurant.

Colman Domingo

At the 2025 Met Gala, where the dress code was "Tailored for You," actor Colman Domingo, the event's co-chair, wore a Valentino printed, tailored suit for his second look, featuring Carrie’s favorite accessory: a flower pin.

Princess Olympia of Greece

For her friend Phoebe Tonkin's wedding, Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece chose a vintage Donna Karan strapless blush-toned ruched dress, which also features a sheer slitted skirt — first worn by the iconic character of Sex and the City in a wedding, where she publicly read a poem about love for the newlyweds while her plus-one, Mr. Big, wasn't paying attention.

Bella Hadid

Supermodel and Orebella founder Bella Hadid was spotted in London wearing a pinstriped midi dress from Evisu, a Blumarine white shirt, and cream slingbacks from Maje. While the look could be inspired by the infamous office siren trend, it also emulated Carrie's gorgeous pinstriped outfit when she first visited the Vogue office to work as a freelance writer — and got drunk on a few too many martinis.

Leandra Medine Cohen

Fashion expert and writer Leandra Medine Cohen wore a black, sleeveless, cropped top with a long white skirt and a yellow belt around her bare torso. Similarly, in episode 15 of Season 4, titled ‘‘Change of a Dress,’’ a newly engaged but already regretting-it Carrie Bradshaw opted for a knotted pink shirt, a long lime green low-rise skirt, and a green belt around her bare torso.

Megan Thee Stallion

In the music video for TWICE's ‘‘Strategy,’’ rapper Megan Thee Stallion wore a checkered miniskirt similar to the blue plaid skirt Carrie wore when she discussed with Aidan whether or not he told Steve that Miranda was pregnant in episode 11 of Season 4.

Addison Rae

Singer Addison Rae was spotted pumping gas in wearing a long, red-and-white striped dress, which echoed Carrie’s nurse costume — although hers was a minidress — when she visited Mr. Big after his heart surgery in ‘‘The Domino Effect.’’

Nicole Kidman

At the 2024 Gotham Awards, actress Nicole Kidman wore a black, floral-detailed Dolce & Gabbana black silk dress. It was inspired by the gown worn by Carrie to a fitting for a New York fashion show organized by a friend with a mix of professional models and ‘‘normals’’ — though later her look was swapped for a shiny navy blazer with a sequined underwear.

Zendaya

While promoting the film Challengers in London, actress Zendaya attended a photocall wearing a striped waistcoat and matching miniskirt with a feathered bustle from Vivienne Westwood’s Spring/Summer 1994 collection. Similarly, in episode nine of season four, Carrie donned a similar Westwood skirt — though green satin. Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, shared an image of the character's outfit, hinting that there was more to the resemblance than mere coincidence.

Emily Ratajkowski

Model Emily Ratajkowski was spotted walking her dog in NYC wearing a fitted gray jersey dress that totally evoked Carrie's iconic LGD (little gray dress) in the scene where she sees her girlfriends at a restaurant and knocks on the window from outside.
