MINOE, A Canadian Pop Artist, Wishes She Killed Her Ex

If you haven’t been in a toxic relationship, you are very lucky but sadly, many of us have, including MINOE, a rising pop star from Montreal. Yet what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger, or in MINOE’s case, inspires you to write a song, with a meaningful title, ‘wish i killed my ex-boyfriend <3,’ available on streaming services now.  

Despite the title though, the single is not against the toxic ex but for all the women like MINOE, as a preach to prevent them from getting hurt. MINOE wrote the song when she found out that her abusive partner from the past started dating another girl.

‘I’ve thought about how I’m worried he might hurt another woman the way he hurt me in the future,’ says MINOE. This is how she explains the provocative title: ‘I don’t want to kill my ex but I do wish I could prevent him from hurting other people.

The song is available on all streaming services now.
