The Devil Wears Prada Press Tour Delivered On Fashion
The outfits you can’t stop thinking about.
The Devil Wears Prada season is officially here! After the long wait, fans—me included—can’t get enough of all the content coming out. I don’t even know what’s more exciting: the press tour filled with stunning fashion moments or the film itself. Well, we’ll definitely have plenty of time to talk about the sequel’s iconic wardrobe, so for now, let’s focus on some of the best press tour appearances.

Emily Blunt
To be honest, I was a little bummed that we didn’t get more of Emily Blunt on this tour, cause for me, her character is just as legendary as Andy or Miranda. Still, she managed to impress with her sophisticated style choices. At the New York premiere, Blunt went all in with the theatrical, highly voluminous couture gown—very Emily Charlton-coded. For London, she chose something less dramatic but just as captivating: a black lace mini dress with a puffy skirt and ruffled neckline.
My personal favorite is the refined two-piece featuring a classic shirt and a bow detail on the shoulder. I love how minimal yet polished it feels. It also mirrors Charlton’s new aesthetic in the sequel, which makes it even more on point.

Anne Hathaway
Anne channeled her inner fashionista for this tour, opting for bold, statement-making ensembles. For the New York and Seoul premieres, she embraced the film's signature red, and it suited her perfectly. It’s safe to say Hathaway was made for rich tones that balance beautifully with her fair skin and dark hair.
Then there’s the black-and-white striped dress with a corset top and a voluminous skirt from the London premiere that is equally unforgettable. I love how intentional her styling is, subtly referencing the film she’s promoting. Even the black coat dress with embellished crystals had a familiar edge. I don’t know whether it was intentional or not, but it instantly brought to mind one of Andy’s most iconic outfits in a similar velvet blazer.

Meryl Streep
Unlike Emily and Anne, Meryl Streep chose one style and stayed consistent throughout the tour. On someone else it might have felt repetitive, but somehow Streep made it work every single time. For the world premiere, she went for an old Hollywood-inspired red gown paired with black gloves—true Miranda Priestly energy, if you ask me.
Her dark-blue fully embellished London dress felt like the most magical and ethereal moment of the entire tour. For the rest of her appearances, she leaned into classic two-piece sets that may seem simpler but are just as sophisticated.
