Gigi Hadid Has A Very Convincing Argument For Owning More Denim

Goes well beyond buying another pair of jeans.

The model has teamed up with Italian label Liu Jo for The Gigi Hadid Edit, a curated selection built around denim-on-denim styling, statement outerwear and Western-inspired accessories. The result is a wardrobe that takes a familiar everyday fabric and gives it considerably more personality.

Because jeans are great, but sometimes they need a little drama.

Denim Is the Whole Outfit

The edit plays with coordinated denim looks, bringing together jeans, overshirts, bomber jackets and Napoleon-inspired jackets. The proportions move between relaxed and structured, making the pieces feel more styled than a simple matching set.

Digital prints turn denim into a graphic canvas, while rhinestones and other embellishments add texture and shine. The familiar fabric gets to be casual, decorative and a little extravagant all at once.

Gigi Adds a Western Twist

Leather cowboy boots complete the selection, with tonal stitching bringing a Western reference into the mix. It's a natural fit for Hadid, whose love of horses has long been part of her personal style.

The boots also give the denim a different direction. Rather than leaning entirely into polished city dressing, the styling borrows a little from ranch wear and vintage Americana without turning the whole thing into a costume.

Personal Style Beats the Perfect Uniform

What makes the edit interesting is that it doesn't insist on one correct way to wear denim. Embellished jeans can become the focal point of an outfit, while a denim jacket can be layered with matching pieces or worn separately. The boots add another option for changing the mood.

That flexibility is the point. Denim has always been a wardrobe staple, but it doesn't have to be the boring part of getting dressed.

Shop Gigi's Liu Jo Edit

The Gigi Hadid Edit is available through Liu Jo, with pieces including embellished jeans, denim jackets, printed shirts and leather ankle boots. Prices on the brand's online store include jeans from around $160, embellished styles reaching approximately $260, and denim jackets priced up to around $290, depending on the piece.

Consider this permission to treat your denim drawer less like a collection of basics and more like a wardrobe with a point of view.
