Outfits To Repeat: Best Fashion Choices In The Devil Wears Prada
Cause you always dreamed about dressing like Andy, didn’t you?
2026 officially brings the fans of The Devil Wears Prada together, as we’re all impatiently waiting for May 1 to see the new adventures of our favorite characters. But before the release date arrives, why don’t we look back on some of Andy’s most incredible outfits from the first part? The film came out 20 years ago, yet her wardrobe choices remain relevant to this day. That’s what I call a true fashion icon.

This total white fit has become perhaps Andrea’s most memorable one, and I can see why. It looks simple and effortless, yet super elegant at the same time: all thanks to the right choice of accessories—a wool hat, lace gloves, and a statement bag. And I guess it’s safe to say that the newsboy cap has become an essential piece in her wardrobe, as she’s seen wearing another one in the film. The tweed hat gives “street style meets old money” kind of vibes, and I absolutely love it.
Mixing Styles Like a Pro
In general, Andy loved mixing and blending different styles in her looks, and let’s all agree—she did it well. She managed to create an editorial chic outfit, opting for a classic black jacket and spicing it up with layered necklaces, thigh-high boots, and a green bag. Besides absolutely rocking the edgy aesthetic, Andy also looked stunning in clean and classy looks. Doesn’t she look like she came straight out of Vogue (oops, sorry, Runway)? And it’s not just about her dress, but rather how wisely she complemented it with the right hairstyle, makeup, and accessories.

My Personal Favorite Look
This last look is my personal favorite, and not only because brown looks great on Anne Hathaway. This outfit represents Andy’s true self after her long journey of trying to fit into a world she didn’t really belong to and finding her own voice and style. I love how the simple choice of a warm and “steady” color and comfier pieces like jeans and a turtleneck reflects her character development.
