‘Picture Myself’ captures the constant wondering of whether it's worth it or not.

In 2022, we deserve honest, authentic, and vulnerable songs. We deserve true emotions, dilemmas, and struggles, captured through music. And this is exactly what Stephanie Poetri, an Indonesian American singer and songwriter, is serving on her single, ‘Picture Myself.’

Although she has over 1.2 million followers on Instagram, her newest track proves that she stays close to real life. Sharing a personal story about struggles associated with a long-distance relationship, Stephanie’s delicate voice will appeal to anyone who has ever wondered upon the purpose of their love. ‘Picture Myself’ is a collaborative effort between producer M-Phazes (Madonna, Demi Lovato, Kehlani) and writer Sarah Aarons (Zedd, Flume, Jessie Ware) yet simultaneously, it feels like Stephanie’s very own, deeply intimate testimony.

The release has been accompanied by a music video directed by Eileen Yoon. A simple yet highly emotional image features Stephanie walking around New York City, doing the things she used to do with her partner but now alone.

‘Picture Myself’ is for anyone feeling uncertain, lonely or doubtful.
