Shakira's "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" World Tour Kicks Off With A Bang In Rio

Shakira is back, and she’s bringing the heat. Kicking off her highly anticipated Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour with a stadium show in Rio de Janeiro, she had an ecstatic crowd eating out of her hand at Estadio Nilton Santos. And guess what? She’s just getting started—São Paulo, get ready for the magic on February 13.
The superstar lit up the stage with the Bizarrap-produced “La Fuerte,” rocking a custom Versace ensemble that was nothing short of spectacular. Multiple costume changes followed, showcasing custom looks from the likes of Zuhair Murad, Guarav Gupta, and Jawara Alleyne, plus a pair of one-of-a-kind Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti® Bone cuffs, crafted in platinum with pavé diamonds and even hand-engraved with the tour’s name.
But it wasn’t just a fashion show—it was a full-on musical celebration. Shakira treated fans to a mix of her extensive catalog and fresh hits like “Session 53,” “TQG,” “Monotonia,” and “Te Felicito” from her new GRAMMY-winning album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. After mesmerizing crowds in Brazil, she’s set to continue the journey—performing in Lima, then headlining historic shows in Barranquilla after a 19-year hiatus, and making history in Mexico City with seven consecutive shows. And that’s not all—this spring, she’ll be taking the tour to North America, starting May 13 in Charlotte, NC, with stops in Montreal, Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and wrapping up in San Francisco on June 30.
