As a perpetual trend stalker and fashion lover, nothing excites me more than the Pinterest Predicts 2026 report. Each year, Pinterest releases a forecast of the trends set to dominate the months ahead, and honestly — I’ve got my pen and paper out, and I’m taking notes.

Glamoratti 

After a few years of minimalism and clean aesthetics dominating the algorithm, maximalism is finally making a comeback — and truth be told, I wouldn’t be mad about it.

Pinterest’s Glamoratti trend is all about oversized silhouettes, sculpted shoulder pads, gold, chunky jewellery, funnel necks, and drama in every detail. Essentially, the bolder, the better.

Vamp Romantic  

According to Pinterest, Millennials and Gen Z are leaning into their romantic goth era in 2026 — and me? I fully support this message.

If you’re guilty of being a Love Island fan like I am, season 12’s Yasmin Pettet is already carrying this aesthetic with smudged smoky eyeliner, jet-black hair, dark nails, and velvety fabrics, all finished with a touch of glossy glamour. It’s dramatic, moody, and confident — true Morticia Addams style. I’m fully here for the girlies embracing Vamp Romantic energy.

Laced Up 

I already love a pair of laced tights — but why stop there? Pinterest predicts lace will show up everywhere this year: collars on our jackets, kitten heels, dress hems, and delicate detailing throughout.

There’s something undeniably elegant about lace. To me, it exudes a regal, romantic energy that instantly elevates even the simplest outfit.

Gimme Gummy  

Hear me out on this one. Pinterest says 2026 is the year of bold color, rubbery textures, and playful 3D jewellery — and surprisingly, I love this idea.

This trend feels like an invitation to embrace our inner child and have fun with fashion again. It’s about creativity, playfulness, and not taking dressing too seriously — something fashion could definitely use more of.
