Nike Unveils Their Dunk High In A "Vintage Black" Colorway
Nike knows you’re gonna get them dirty anyways.
After an increase of vintage-inspired releases (and upcoming releases), Nike is bringing the colorway, “Vintage Black,” back to their Dunk High sneakers. Comprised of a white leather base with black overlays and a black Swoosh, these kicks — which closely resemble other black and white Dunk High colorways — are throwing things back with a few changes.
Continuing their aged motif that has been seen on previous Dunk Lows and Dunk Highs, the midsoles of these kicks are pre-yellowed — contrasting against the stark white coatings. For an extra vintage effect, the laces are also a yellowish tint so you can pretend they’re actually hand-me-downs. With black outsoles, the upcoming releases also include off-white Nike branding in the insoles that match the aged look of the midsoles and laces.
Although there is no definite release date, the Dunk Highs in a "Vintage Black" colorway is expected to be released sometime in 2022.
