Marc Jacobs Threw It Back To The Noughties With The Ultimate Y2K Stam Bag

With a campaign featuring 2000s icons: Paris Hilton, Jessica Stam, Ashlee Simpson, Selma Blair and Ashanti.

It’s clear that the Y2K craze is far from over as Marc Jacobs has revived its OG It-bag from the noughties: the Stam Bag.

As part of the brand’s ongoing M-archives collection, noughties It-girls appeared in the new campaign, shot by Harley Weir, including Paris Hilton, Ashlee Simpson, Selma Blair, Ashanti, and the namesake OG Jessica Stam.

First introduced back in 2005 and named after model Jessica Stam, the Stam Bag shaped the Y2K fashion scene with its unique structure, signature quilted leather, and chunky hardware.

It quickly became one of the brand’s most notable silhouettes and earned the It-bag status of the era as it was loved by celebs such as Paris Hilton, Hillary Duff, Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian

Marc Jacobs eventually phased out the Stam in 2013, but now, ten years later, it’s back with a bang…
