Styling Sweatpants For The Cool Everyday Look
Leather jackets are a lifesaver.
I have never been a loungewear girl. To me, there's no better way to feel ready for the day ahead than to change into a look that's polished and purposeful. My one pair of sweatpants has always lived at the very bottom of my trouser drawer.
Recently, I've started to change my stance. Wearing a cool outfit is fun until you're back home and just want to wear something comfy, and I've increasingly been seeing influencers styling sweatpants in effortless streetwear looks. I decided to push myself.
I saw an influencer style a pair of gray sweatpants with an oversized leather jacket and white top, so I tried it out to go to the shops. Instantly, I felt a bit cooler, and I was conscious that surrendering my regular brightly colored style meant I could blend in more—which, when I'm just trying to carry groceries home, is sometimes the more favorable option.
