The famous Italian duo is back! Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace celebrate Pride Month alongside the 10th anniversary of the Born This Way album by recreating the BTW leather jacket and you can get your hands on it!

Gaga has always had a special place in her heart for Versace – in the past 10 years, she has proudly worn custom looks created by the Italian brand, expressing her affinity for Donatella’s work. Remember her dramatic arrival on a white human horse to the American Music Awards in 2013, wearing a lavender fairy gown? Or her Marilyn Monroe-esque black velvet dress at the 2016 Golden Globes? And when she wore the metallic circuit-board leotard at The Met Gala the same year? Just WOW. After working with Donatella for more than 10 years since the Born This Way Era, the duo decided to link up once again on a project all about ‘Individuality, inclusiveness and everything to do with pride.'

In Celebration of Pride Month, as well as the 10th anniversary of Born This Way – Gaga’s third studio album, all the proceeds from this collection will be donated to the Born This Way Foundation, in support of the LGBT+ community. “I am so happy to partner once again with Lady Gaga and the Born This Way Foundation. Our friendship and our efforts to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion have only become stronger with time,” said Donatella.

Donatella has recreated the famous leather jacket worn by Gaga while touring the Born This Way Ball – the replica, which features metal mesh and golden hardware, took over 400 hours to make and is now available to be won through Omaze,  an online fundraising platform that connects charities, once-in-a-lifetime prizes and people who want to make a difference.

According to Miss Versace herself, the leather jacket was one of her favorite pieces from the Born This Way era, so she was pleased to recreate the piece to be auctioned for a great cause. “Gaga and her foundation are so inspiring, I love the work they do with vulnerable youth and the LGBTQ+ community,” she said. Besides the jacket, Versace also released a capsule collection on Wednesday 2nd June, including limited black and white T-Shirts and berets with Born This Way & Versace logos in Pride rainbow colors.

To win the signature leather jacket, be sure to enter by June 30th at the Omaze website.
