Record collecting has quickly become the most popular it has been since the nineties and now it’s a trend everyone wants in on! However, vinyl can be expensive so here are a few ways in which you can save without missing out.

Buying singles is a great way to get started! Most record shops will have a section devoted to singles usually selling for around 99¢ each! Not only is this a great way of starting or expanding your collection, its also a great way of discovering new music and artists for less than a dollar!

Small Locally Owned Record Shops

Your local shops will usually sell records for much cheaper than big chains in order to compete. They also often sell second hand which means you get a good quality vinyl for half of the price. This is also a great way of showing support for your local high street and small businesses which is essential after the pandemic.

Trading records is not only a good way of getting some cheap records or rare finds, it’s a great way of meeting people.
