Gucci Beauty's Skin Soothing Solution: The Caring Duo

As June brings sweltering temperatures and waves of humidity, many are starting to break out the electric fans and creamsicles. But this transition to summer in the northern hemisphere does not only bring warmer weather. Many also fight sunburns and breakouts around this time of year.
Gucci Beauty’s new Caring Duo may have launched at just the right time. A combo of a balm (the Gucci Baume Nourrissant Universal) and a hydration mist (the Gucci Brume De Beauté), this two-product package could be the solution to our skin soothing needs.
The Gucci Baume Nourrissant Universel features neutral, fragrance-free oils (ideal for sensitive skin). Its shea butter and castor oil can also combat dry skin and lips. The gold compact mirror packaging gives a vintage feel–it reminds me of the makeup my grandmother keeps in her vanity from her childhood.
The Gucci Brume De Beauté, on the other hand, can be used either to prep skin before applying makeup or to refresh skin after makeup application. The mist’s Black Rose Oil has antioxidant properties, and Gucci Beauty even stated that they hope the mist can help shield consumers’ skin from pollution.
