I’m a young Gen-Z, but there’s nothing I love more than being in bed by 10 p.m. on a Friday night, watching my silly little game shows and doing my word search. Grandma-core, right? But I also like dressing the part. There’s something deeply satisfying about stepping outside the house in an outfit that looks like it was assembled during a tea break. Honestly, my best outfits are the ones that are a little mismatched and slightly questionable. I’m talking patterned knit cardigans, long skirts that puddle around your ankles, and thin-rimmed spectacles that make me look like someone’s nana. I love it so much.

Maybe it’s because, in a world where everything online looks AI-generated, filtered, and painfully over-curated, it just feels good to pick comfort and character. It feels downright powerful.
