Louis Vuitton's FW23 Handbag Affair

The Parisian Palette.

POSTED BY ZOE TYLER

How do you capture the essence of Paris in a handbag? That's the challenge that Louis Vuitton faced for its Fall/Winter 2023 campaign, which features four of its house ambassadors and celebrated actors: Hoyeon, Deepika Padukone, Elaine Zhong and Léa Seydoux.

The brand chose two of its iconic handbags, the GO-14 and the Capucines, to represent its heritage and innovation. The GO-14 has a quilted design that recalls the malletage technique used in the famous trunks, while the Capucines has a sleek and refined shape that adapts to any occasion.

The four actors took their handbags to some of the most emblematic places in Paris, where they expressed their individual style and personality. Hoyeon, who is known for her adventurous spirit, rode her bike to the Pont Alexandre III, a magnificent bridge that spans the Seine, with the GO-14 in a crossbody style. Deepika Padukone, who is admired for her elegance and charisma, posed on the rooftop of the Palais Galliera, a museum that showcases the history of fashion and has a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, holding the same bag in a bright white color. Léa Seydoux, who is renowned for her confidence and sophistication, chose the Capucine in a deep burgundy shade, which matched her chic and assertive attitude. Elaine Zhong, who is loved for her grace and playfulness, relaxed in the courtyard of the Palais Galliera, with a pure white Capucine that complemented her feminine and whimsical charm.

The campaign is a tribute to the diversity and elegance of Parisian women, who inspire Louis Vuitton with their unique sense of adventure and femininity. You can see Louis Vuitton's FW23 campaign in the gallery above and shop the handbags on Louisvuitton.com.
