Trend forecasting agency WGSN and color authority Coloro have announced that Digital Lavender will be 2023's 'IT' shade.
Appearing within digital culture already, the shade is expected to take over our social media and ooze into the physical world, with it's latest appearance on Apple's new purple iPhone 12.
Signifying stability, serenity, spirituality and the subconscious, the color has connections to protecting and improving our mental health.
Head of Color at WGSN, Jenny Clark believes that "Our S/S23 palette [will]reflect a more hopeful and optimistic view of the future,....we believe consumers will seek out colors that they can engage with positively."
Purple is also associated with magic, mystery, royalty and creativity is expected to dominate SS23 fashion collections.

Eyeshadow is a great way of bringing some color into your look. Whether it's a simple purple eyeliner, a wash of lavender or a graphic look, purple eyeshadow will propel you into 2023.
