CAFUNE Announce 2023 North American Headline Tour

They also recently shared the music video for hit track "Running".

Dreamy, delicate, and dazed indie-pop duo Cafuné, consisting of singer/songwriter Sedona Schat and writer/producer Noah Yoo, have finally announced a headline tour, following on from supporting CHVRCHES on their multi-leg US tour and performed two sold-out shows at Brooklyn's Elsewhere and LA's Gengis Cohen.

Self-produced and almost entirely recorded at home, the NYC-based duo have been working together since the early 2010s; back then, they were students. Their alt-pop debut album "Running" was created during isolation, considering what it means to get older, do work, and try to push forwards even when you do not know where you are headed. Serving as the title track of the EP, the music video for "Running," directed by Jo Gennett, has recently been released on their YouTube channel.

Their breakout single "Tek It" sent viral on TikTok and has now amassed over 260 million streams. "Tek It" currently sits inside the Top 20 on Billboard's "Hot Rock and Alternative Songs" while moving into the Top 10 on Mediabase's "Alternative Chart." They show no sign of slowing down as they celebrate their recent signing to Elektra Records (Twenty One Pilots, Chloe Moriondo).

The upcoming date is set to get February 21st in Toronto underway, ON, and continue through late March with stops in Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Nashville, and New York City. In addition, other major markets across the U.S. Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available October 12th, at 10:00 AM ET, with general on-sale starting October 14th at 10:00 AM local time.
