This is Blake Lively's 'It Ends With Us' Press Tour Outfit
Florals are here to stay, at least for Blake Lively.
The internet has collectively spoken, Blake Lively is the definition of the word ‘goddess’ and her style? Superb! As the movie premiere for Colleen Hover’s popular book, ‘It Ends with Us’ is about to debut, Lively, who plays florist Lily Bloom, has been out and about NYC in some truly phenomenal floral outfits and beaded dresses. Below are some of the best looks she’s worn.
Oscar de la Renta Floral Mini
De la Renta’s floral mini dresses have been popular with celebrities since the look from the designer first debuted a few seasons ago. Lively’s dress had a slightly different twist to it with the dress appearing as if it were made from real flower petals pressed against her body. The look was simple, and elegant and made her look as if she was a fairy who danced out of the Tinkerbell movies.
Oscar de la Renta dress with Christopher John Roger Cape
Who says you can’t mix patterns? Lively proved it was utterly chic on August 4th as she waltzed across New York in a black and white polka dot dress from Oscar de la Renta and a colorful, vibrant cape from the newer designer Christopher John Rogers. The look might not have been floral, but the bright colors were playful, chic, and very Lily Bloom.
Dauphinette Beaded Dress
Flowers? Beads? Fishes? And a mushroom bag?! This chaotic and stunning look was created by indie brand Dauphinette, which seemed to have been Lively’s favorite of the week as she stunned in multiple looks from the brand. This beaded mini dress won the gold medal for us here at Fizzy, as it was unexpected and quirky–much like Blake Lively herself.
Head to toe Chanel
Lively stepped out for another day of press tours wearing a floral printed top and matching jeans wearing a S/S 2024 Chanel look. While the outfit garnered attention for not being something she’d normally wear, its floral prowess made a case for method dressing during premiere week. Top it off with a Chanel camellia shaped bag and Lively’s inner florist had clearly bloomed.
Versace (with an underwear peek-a-boo?!)
Lively supposedly wore this look twice during the week, as the first time she’d put the underwear on backward! This look was more Blake Lively than Lily Bloom, but the creativity made sense in her looks for the ‘It Ends with Us’ press tours. Lacking in an overload of flowers–but not in glimpses of skin–Lively donned Versace with their boxer briefs poking out above the top of her pants and the flower-printed mesh shirt gave glimpses of the powder pink bra.
Stella McCartney Floral Suit
If you need any more proof that oversized is in, take a look at Lively’s look in London. Wearing an oversized Stella McCartney suit set embroidered with flowers, the actress pulled a famed styling trick and went topless underneath the blazer. Pairing it off with colorful heels and simple jewelry, the look was mouthwatering.
