STELLA - The New Vegan Skin Care Range by Stella McCartney
Travels to Scotland were one of the core inspirations behind her vegan line.
‘Sustainable and cost-effective’ are two words that bring music to my ears, and Stella McCartney is here to show us how to achieve this through vegan skincare. Well known for her eco-friendly, ‘no animal’ policy fashion line, a vegan skin care range is the cherry on top.
STELLA, a line she calls “responsible alternative luxury” is set to be released this month, and having launched her previous skin care line CARE and fragrances in the 2000’s, Stella has been wanting to go back to her beauty roots.
Her travels to Scotland were one of the core inspirations behind her vegan line. She details her time in Mull of Kintyre as a transformative experience stating “It was probably a challenge, but I wanted Scotland in a bottle” and as a result STELLA was born.
Consisting of three vital skin care products; a serum, cleanser and cream, all packaging comes from ‘recyclable and recycled materials’ which, at a reduced rate, allows you to refill your products.
Every refill contributes to reducing the environmental impact, with your first refill reducing it by a third!
The range includes organically selected ingredients such as; ‘rock samphire, biotechnical lingonberry extract, wild organic birch sap and wild dulse algae extract’.
