Bella and Gigi Hadid Prove They Are Sisters Not Twins in Distinct Looks for The Prince’s Trust Gala
Gigi channelled her inner Barbie while Bella embodied Jackie O in vintage YSL for Dior.
Gigi and Bella are potentially fashion’s most iconic siblings since Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, but the two each have their own individual style and flaunt this even when attending an event together. Last night was The Prince’s Trust Gala in New York and the dynamic duo graced the red carpet in two completely different, yet equally stunning, looks for the night.
Gigi chose an ultramodern look from the Valentino fall 2022 collection. Valentino’s hot pink looks have taken the fashion world by storm this season and have been a celebrity favorite at recent events. Gigi’s look featured the opaque pink tights paired with the platform heels that have been Valentino’s staple look as of late. This was paired with an off the shoulder jacquard minidress and paired the look with a matching pink handbag. The look was pulled together by Gigi’s bleach blonde hair that encompassed her high-fashion Barbie-esque look.
Bella, however, channelled Old Hollywood glamour in a 63-year-old vintage Dior gown. Stylist Law Roach, king of the archives, sourced the dress from Aralda Vintage and likened Bella’s look to Jackie Kennedy Onassis in his Instagram caption “Bella Kennedy Onassis wearing vintage Dior designed by Yves Saint Laurent from 1959 purchased at @aralda.vintage for my personal archive”.
The all-black look featured a full-length strapless gown, sheer long gloves and Louboutin heels. The Old Hollywood look was completed by Bella’s dainty diamond jewelry and the model’s trademark sleek up-do.
