Your Favorite Sundae Topping Has Turned Into...Sunscreen?

All the details on this sunscreen-meets-dessert combo.

POSTED BY MADELINE MURPHY

Whether you have shaken a Reddi-Wip can at 2 AM, dived into a diner sundae or enjoyed first-day-of-school pancakes, whipped cream carries some of our sweetest memories. Inspired by this dessert staple, sunscreen brand Vacation wanted to create a product that both mimics the playful experience of propelling out a mound of foam and offers sun production.

Say hello to Classic Whip SPF 30, Vacation’s latest revolutionary sunscreen.

Classic Whip’s packaging could have been retrieved from the grainy ads of the 60s—the cursive red font sprawled over the white can reflects the decade’s early, simplistic print designs. But Vacation doesn’t just keep things simple with the packaging. Cruelty-free and dermatologist-tested, Classic Whip is like “dessert for your skin,” with ingredients such as coconut oil, aloe vera, banana extract and vitamin E.

Its “tilt valve” actuator is one of the few ways to make lathering sunscreen in August heat enjoyable. Plus, since Classic Whip is water-resistant for approximately 80 minutes, you can pop the can in a tote bag before any beach trip.

While Classic Whip SPF 30 officially launches on August 29, you can pre-order the sunscreen now on the Vacation website for $22 USD. And a little bonus: all pre-orders come with a free Classic Whip Air Freshener.
