Tilly Louise Is Back With “Rosie”

A bubbly love letter to friendship.

POSTED BY ZOE TYLER

Liverpool’s indie-pop sweetheart Tilly Louise is stepping back into the spotlight with a sparkly new track that’s equal parts heart and hype. “Rosie” is her first release of 2025 and the third teaser from her upcoming EP Where The Hell Have You Been?, due later this year.

Rosie, But Make It Plural

Tilly wrote “Rosie” as a bouquet of gratitude for her besties, saying:

“It’s about bundling them all up into one perfect person which is Rosie... (I don’t have a friend called Rosie and A) didn’t want to single anyone out. B) none of their names fit into the chorus).”
Packed with audio snapshots of laughter, cheeky banter, and the kind of joy that only comes from real friendship, the track is warm, fun, and utterly Tilly.

The Sound? Glimmering Guitars + Sassy Synths + Full-Hearted Lyrics

This isn’t just another indie-pop bop—it’s a polished, punchy blend of confessional songwriting and celebratory energy. Think Blondie strutting through a glittery Paramore dreamscape. “Rosie” doesn’t just slap—it hugs, too.

The EP Is Coming... and It’s Big

With Where The Hell Have You Been?, Tilly’s setting the tone for her most unapologetic era yet. It’s a collection brimming with stories, sass, and soul—her own indie-pop scrapbook of identity and growth. And if “Rosie” is any hint, this project’s going to be one hell of a moodboard.

Meet Tilly Louise

A Liverpudlian through and through, Tilly’s the kind of artist who puts her whole heart into every hook. She grew up idolizing local legends like Zuzu and Pixey, and now she’s carving her own path with a sound that pulls from rock queens like Hayley Williams and Debbie Harry, filtered through a Gen Z lens.

Press play, dance it out, and send “Rosie” to the group chat. Tilly’s back—and she brought the whole gang.
