Popular TikTok creator Jools Lebron has shared her disappointment after someone claimed copyright on her viral phrase, "very demure, very mindful." In a now-deleted TikTok video, Lebron revealed that she had invested significant time and money into the phrase, hoping to monetize its viral success to support her transition.

Lebron explained that a person named Jefferson Bates from Washington had filed for a trademark on the phrase, which she found incredibly upsetting. "I feel like I did it wrong," she said, expressing her frustration and self-doubt. "I wanted to do so much for my family and provide for my transition, and I just feel like I dropped the ball."

Lebron gained viral fame earlier this month after posting a TikTok showcasing her work makeup routine. Her playful line, "You see how I do my makeup for work? Very demure, very mindful," quickly became a popular audio clip on the platform. This newfound fame even led to a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live with RuPaul.
