POSTED BY LIV STEVENS

We all know that TikTok is one of the best places to find new music these days, there is no doubt about it. But which of the newest releases are set to go viral soon? Look no further as we count down through the top 5...

5 - Not My Job FLO

This nostalgic throwback has TikTok in a chokehold after their incredible previous releases Cardboard Box and Immature. The new and fast emerging trio from London are taking the U.K. and worldwide R&B scene by storm.

4 - People Pleaser Cat Burns

Cat Burns, who's career sky-rocketed after posting snippets of her incredibly soothing covers and captivating original songs. Now, with over 100,000 million Spotify streams on her 2022 EP "emotionally unavailable", she has a new single out on October 7th and people are desperate for the drop!

3 - This Is Why Paramore

PARAMORE HAVE RELEASED THEIR FIRST SINGLE IN 5 YEARS. This is not a drill. They have also announced their sixth studio album, with the same title, will be released in February 2023. "It summarises the plethora of ridiculous emotions, the rollercoaster of being alive in 2022, having survived even just the last three or four years. You’d think after a global pandemic of fucking biblical proportions and the impending doom of a dying planet, that humans would have found it deep within themselves to be kinder or more empathetic or something," says Hayley Williams, lead singer of the band. Absolute legend.

2 - Unholy Sam Smith & Kim Petras

The sound has already been used over 500 thousand times. Sam Smith shared a teaser on their account, which now has over 31 million views, and the excitement of seeing Kim Petras in the background was enough to drive everyone crazy. The amount of thirst traps is slightly overwhelming, but everything about the song is absolutely iconic.

1 - Mel Made Me Do It Stormzy

Stormzy has done it again. The cameos. THE CAMEOS. A music video featuring a huge amount of famous faces, such as Little Simz, Nella Rose, Louis Theroux and also Brenda Edwards and Tanisha Edwards, mother and sister respectively of the late Jamal Edwards, DJ and founder of the online R&B/Hip-Hop platform SB.TV.
