Rihanna Donates to Help Out the Climate Crisis

As always, she is killing it.

Rihanna has shown time and time again that she is more than just a pop star, with her makeup line Fenty Beauty and lingerie line as well as an acting career it is clear she is a gal of many talents. However, with all her success is still down to earth, and this is clear in the creation of her non-profit organization Clara Lionel Foundation. 

CLF was founded in 2012 and was named after Rihanna's grandparents, the charities main aim is to “support and fund climate resilience and justice projects in the U.S. and Caribbean.” The charity has received a lot of praise and credit for its effective work and was even names one of the most innovative nonprofit organizations in 2020. 

Rihanna recently announced that CFL will be donating $15m divided between 18 charities including the Movement for Black Lives, the Black Feminist Fund, the Climate Justice Alliance and the full list is available here. Not only does the foundation work towards a more sustainable planet and better climate the charity also supports POC, indigenous and LGBTQ+ people.
