We've Got Our Hands On The New TOMS Mallow Boot

On first look, the TOMS Mallow Puffer Boot gives winter chic with its sleek silhouette and serves a 'cloud-soft feel' with the supersized sole. No need to worry about your footprint rising with this boy, because the Mallow Puffer is part of TOMS Earthwise range, which promises vegan, sustainable shoes made from recycled and recyclable materials. In its packaging, TOMS uses 100% sustainably sourced materials, 80% recycled materials, and soy-based inks; it aims to increase its B Corp score in the coming years and will start measuring its carbon footprint for further customer transparency by 2023. 

Trying on the Mallow Puffer gave me a sense of comfort; the warm winter boot was just what I needed since the days just got darker and colder. I went for the dark olive, which gives any outfit a natural, earthy tone, and the orange TOMS taping at the back gives a splash of color. Coming in three colorways, you can choose from olive, beige, or black, each with a little dash of color on the taping.

The first thing I noticed was how true to size they are. Something I always struggle with. Depending on the brand, I can sometimes vary from half up to a whole size! These straight away felt snug, without feeling too tight. Walking around really felt like floating on a cloud and the puffy upper gave a cozy feel.
