Peacock released a teaser of their new Vampire Academy series on Thursday following a panel at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC).

The series is a young adult supernatural drama based off the book series by Richelle Mead. The show is written by Marguerite MacIntyre who portrayed Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes in The Vampire Diaries (TVD). MacIntyre also is credited for writing episodes of TVD’s spinoffs The Originals, and Legacies.

The rest of the cast includes Kieron Moore, Andre Dae Kim, J. August Richards, Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Mia Mckenna-Bruce, Rhian Blundell, Jonetta Kaiser and Andrew Liner.
