Mommy? Sorry... mommy?

Oscar-award winning actress Nicole Kidman took social media by storm this week after posing for Perfect Magazine’s September cover - and we are obsessed.

The Australian actress, who turns 55 this year, has been named the Perfect Icon in the magazine’s third edition - one of 23 new awards inaugurated to honor industry talent across the board and people who are “shaping contemporary culture.” Kidman has been praised for her unrelenting curiosity and versatility.

To celebrate, she’s featured in a series of striking high-fashion photos taken by Malaysian-Chinese photographer, Zhong Lin, sporting cascading auburn hair with her fringe cropped bluntly at her chin - and of course her jaw-dropping, glossy triceps.

“At a time when the validity of awards ceremonies is in question, and the red-carpet spectacle of presentations is dominated by the awarding bodies and the presenters, we wanted to shift the focus back on those who we think deserve to be rewarded,” Perfect Magazine said.

Kidman is styled in Y2K-inspired pieces from Diesel’s Autumn-Winter 2022 collection which first debuted at Milan Fashion Week earlier this February.

In a second cover, she’s posing in Y/Project’s patent thigh-high oversized boots - a label led by Diesel’s Belgian designer, Glenn Martens.

Throughout the 20-page fashion editorial, Kidman is photographed in an array of iconic, daredevil looks including the infamous naked print dress and a double-denim Diesel set - it’s no wonder why the internet won’t stop talking about this.

Known for making statements with high fashion, Kidman joined Bella Hadid, Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa on Balenciaga’s runway during Paris Haute Couture Week in July.

"I make my decisions the way a teenager would," Nicole Kidman tells Perfect in an accompanying interview. "Not playing out the consequences. I approach things like, 'I want to do this, I'm gonna try it. It's had its ups and downs. It actually makes for a really tumultuous career -- which I'm into."
