Music Artist's Are Auctioning Guitars for Charity

These rockers have a soft side

POSTED BY KIRSTEN MORETON

Guitars Icons: A Musical Instrument Auction to Benefit was organized to help raise money for small musicians struggling due to the pandemic’s effect on the music industry. Artists such as U2, Paul McCartney and Kings of Leon have all donated guitars to the charity Music Rising to auction off and help support smaller artists. Rush, The Who, Green Day, and Pearl Jam are just another handful of many names that have given their instruments for the cause.

The pandemic left many artists and producers out of work as concerts were canceled and streaming revenues drop. Music Rising will help people affected this way rebuild and continue doing what they love and making music

The event will take place on the 11th of December in Los Angeles and will also be streaming online.
