First seen on NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. on September 22, the LoveFrom, Moncler line brings Ive’s minimalist design sensibility to the world of high-performance outerwear.
For his first foray into outerwear, Ive designed three key layering pieces: a field jacket, a vest, and a poncho. Each item comes in soft pastel shades reminiscent of Apple's iMac palette, giving the collection a sleek, modern aesthetic. But the real magic lies in the construction. Crafted from a recycled nylon fabric, developed exclusively for LoveFrom, the garments are loom-woven and seam-free, allowing for a fluid drape and a streamlined look.
These pieces are not just visually striking—they're engineered to function flawlessly together. Designed to be layered seamlessly, the field jacket, vest, and poncho combine into a weatherproof ensemble, while each item is stylish enough to stand on its own.
The collection’s most innovative feature is the "Duo" button, a small but powerful detail crafted from four metals and a magnet. This ingenious fastener allows the garments to snap together effortlessly, highlighting Ive’s signature approach to intuitive design—reminiscent of his work on the iconic iPod click wheel.
