Miu Miu Is Hot!

Any fashion label aspires to claim the title of Hottest Brand of the Year. Deciding what is considered hot is not actually all that difficult, or at least not for Lyst. With the help of their Lyst Index, they determine which label gets the title of "Hottest Brand Of The Year" coming in at first place. 

But hang on, what exactly is the Lyst Index? Basically, it is a quarterly ranking of the trendiest brands and products in the fashion industry. Applying a formula developed by Lyst, the index takes into account what the 200 million online shoppers are doing online on and off the platform, as well as viewing products and making purchases. Fairly simple, right? 

Now, the brand that secured this spot and title is non-other than the younger sister of Prada: Miu Miu 

Well-known for their fondness for more feminine and playful designs, pairing them with quirky yet bold prints and colors. The Miu Miu girl is way different from the typical Prada girl, she's much girlier, slightly quirkier and, according to Lyst, also trendier and hotter. 

Miu Miu ignited the runway with a love for the ballerina aesthetic this year: 'Ballet Core' as we call it. 

Picture the typical things that a ballerina would wear and that are reminiscent of ballet attire, this includes chiffon, tulle, ribbons as well as the colors, pale pink, white and soft pastel blue. We saw the Miu Miu ballet flats in a dainty shade of pink everywhere. Lots of people were keen to adopt the ballerina aesthetic that Miu Miu popularized into their wardrobes.
