Lanvin Has Released Their Spring Summer 2023 pre-collection

Lanvin, a label known for its beautifully eccentric clothes and sculptural pieces, has just released its Spring Summer 2023 pre-collection, full of long ankle length dresses and flowy, freeform outfits. Veering away from the more structured pieces of their past, Lanvin created a more modern-looking collection with sophisticated pieces, modeling masculine tones with a few, softer, feminine edges. Incorporating both feminine and masculine styles, the collection features a cooled down glamour full of dignity and power. The oversized suits with wide-open pant legs embrace the masculine side of fashion while the sweeping dresses embrace the feminine.

The color palette ranges from dark suits, stark white dresses, and muted pastels, made mostly with solid colors with a few notable exceptions. The patterned pieces are understated looks that don’t overwhelm the senses. The look balances structure and comfort, being both polished and laidback.  

This pre-collection offers us attractive styles for every occasion. There are sweaters, blazers, hoodies, suits, leather jackets, and dazzling dresses. Most of the ensembles featured in their pre-collection would fit into the minimalist category, subscribing to the philosophy that less is in fact more. Lanvin’s new collection is a study in minimalism, androgyny, and demolishing the difference between casual and chic.
